Interstitial & Occupational Lung Diseases

Interstitial lung disease involves over 180 chronic lung disorders. The diseases got their name because the tissue between the air sacs of the lungs, the interstitium, is affected by fibrosis (scarring). This category of diseases is also known as Pulmonary Fibrosis. Most of the diseases cause inflammations of the bronchioles, alveoli or small blood vessels — affecting breathing and oxygen transport. Lung mass

I had chest X ray yesterday and it shown mass in lung. My symptoms were cough and pain in rib area. Is it possible that this mass in my lung is a cancer? Is it possible that it could be something else? How is lung cancer diagnosed?

lung nodule

Hi, I`m 42 and have granuloma nodule in my lung, and my radiologist said that is »common and not to worry about«. But I`m not so sure. What is that granuloma nodule at all? Should I be worried about that? I had some infection recently, and think that could be the cause.
