Mucus discharge from my baby girl (now @ 3 1/2 months)

Can anyone advise whether the virginal mucus discharge from 3 months old baby girl is normal? The mucus is milky transparent kind of discharge. Why do baby girl have this kind of discharge? Pls advise.
