What are your thoughts on the beep test?

I'm looking to improve my time, has anyone heard of it. It's that thing where you run 20 metres before a beep, then run back ect. As time goes on the beeps start going faster. My time for it was 10.5 minutes. Does anyone know the best way to train to improve it in about 4 months? Thanks.

I felt tired, even winded, and my muscles were tight. For the last couple of miles I finally found my groove. Felt good, legs felt...
