Can blood and urine samples detect reason for testicle pain?

There seems to be a small lump on the back of my testicle which is a little painful. Last week and had blood and urine samples taken for my yearly physical examination but no mention of anything wrong. Would these samples detect if there was something wrong? I am wondering, thanks in advance!
