am i using my birth control right?

I just began using birth control (ortho tri cyclen) and i began taking it the third day of my recent period (Sunday start). I take it everyday between 10:20 and 10:40 with.juice or water. It's day 15 but I'm supposedly ovulating can i still have sex without getting pregnant
