I was on Avaine (generic brand of Alesse) for 3 months, it caused horrible mood swings and slight spotting, so I was off the pill for a month and then started Alesse which wasn't so bad (a little moody for the first couple of weeks and then that went away) now 2 weeks into my second pack I am having spotting for the first time on this pill. 3-4 days ago I was 8 hours late taking a pill and then yesterday around 12pm I started to spot or basically have a second period as I am still bleeding today (26 hours later) red blood. Has anyone else experienced this? It makes me just want to stop taking birth control all together because none seem to get along with me.
