i am 22 years old and am on the ortho evra patch for birth control. recently, i started bleeding lightly, a watery red and pink blood. it lasted for 5 days, never heavy but enough to wear i needed a pad for the first two days at least. i became frustrated thinking it was my patch so i took it off early thinking i was going to stop it. i took it off on a wednesday. early saturday morning i got my period but it only lasted for about 2 days and was very light. now the following tuesday (when i am actually due for my period) i have nothing. i don't think pregnancy is a possibility since i am on birth control and my boyfriend uses a condom everytime...? we are very careful. i was very concerned about that bleeding for a week, i have never had that before. and is having that early short period normal?
