I have been on the birth control patch Ortho Evra for eight months. My period was due anytime between Sunday and tomorrow. Instead of a period I have severe cramps in my lower abdomen and when I go to the bathroom and wipe I have either a brownish tinged mucous or very light pink spotting. It has not transferred to my underwear and is only when I wipe. Has my period faded from being on the patch? Am I too expect my period yet? Does anyone have any helpful hints on this matter?
