Okay, my period started on 05/30 and only lasted 3 days (06/02) which was a little strange because it has always lasted 5-6 days. My boyfriend and I had sex on Sunday (06/03) and the condom broke. I took Plan B the next morning and then we went out and got back well after I was supposed to take the second but he told me to take it anyway. It's been 8 days since then and a few hours ago I noticed brown discharge with light pink spotting when I wiped. I had some very light cramps and noticed some red stringy mucous-y stuff when I was taking a shower an hour or so after that. I'm just wondering if this is a side effect of taking emergency contraception or if maybe this is something else? I really want to have a child but I know my boyfriend is not ready so I'm hoping I'm pregnant for me and hoping I'm not for him.

Sometimes when you've taken the plan B pill it can make your body think its time to start your period again and since you were just on it there's no egg yet to shed so it might be your bodies way of trying to shed an egg that's not there
