I tapered off of 1.25 mg/day of Klonopin in a period of about 4 months - decreasing by .125 mg about every 10-14 days. - it was a very nasty process just like everyone else here describes. What has been even worse though is the 3 months since I took my final dose. I'm still having anxiety, depression, night sweats, ear-ringing, hot flashes, fullness in my ears, light-headedness, etc.

What have some of you fellow victims of this nasty drug who have already taken your final dose and are now "finished" taking Klonopin experienced as far as withdrawal symptoms AFTER your last dose? I am still going through hell with this even after 3 months of no Klonopin. My ear, nose and throat doctor said it can take up to 1, 2 or even 3 years for this nasty drug's side effects to go away because it really throws your system out of whack. When I tell this time frame for final withdrawal to other doctors they just laugh it off and say there's no way it would take that long. Who"s right? What have you experienced?
