Thats because when you first start ur period it is not always REGULAR. It took me a year of having periods for them to get regular and have then around the same time every month

Ok. Soo, I started my period July 26th 11'. I had something called vaginal dishcharge. It was sometimes white and clear. The other day was exactly 28 days after I ended. It was supposed to be my 2nd time starting my period. I wore a liner to school and I noticed some brown stuff in it. I figured I started my period but after a few hours nothing came out. So for days i've been wearing liners and nothing's happened. But right before I started there was brown stuff in my underwear. They say before you start and end it will be brown because that's old blood. So if you haven't started yet it should be like within the next few days.

The brown sticky stuff is not your Period but is a sign that in about 6 months you will start your period. This is called discharge. Discharge can be brown, white, red, clear and sometimes it can be pale blue mixed with White. Know one can tell you when your period is but ask your mom how old she was when she got her period then ask your older sister/s when she got hers. When you get that info work out how old you will be in about 6 months and then anywhere between 1 year later & 1 year earlier than the last person that got her first period in your house. Congratulations in about the next 3-9 months you will be becoming a young ladie. See you in womanhood.

its just your period! like others have said, its the old blood from your uterus wall thats finally coming out. and usually during your first year when you have your period its never regular so after a few months of not having it the blood will again be brown because its old. its nothing to worry about! (:

I have just experienced this at 23, had a minor freak out that I was spotting, or pregnant. This is the first time it has notified me, and I'd like it not to. Well at least i'm not pregnant. :-) congratulations to the girls that have just started, chocolate helps the pain and so does exercise. x

Hey it's gonna be ok ;-) . All it is, is discharge well really it's dried discharge. The brown gooey stuff is only old blood that had to get itself out of your vagina. Your vagina cleans itself out so you dont get sick or an infection. Vagina's are gods way of making new human beings and to do that we have to have clean Vagina's. If you haven't started your period yet it means your period is coming in about 2 months or way sooner so be prepared. DONT use tampons because that will increase that risk of having an infection while you just start your period ok. Dont worry im 13 years old and i havent started my period yet either :$ . But i woke up this very morning going " eh What the Hell??? o.O ! " well i looked it up and itss only dried up old blood so dont be conserned unless it itches or its all red because then that could mean you might have a Yeast Infection.
