I've had 2 very different experiences taking Plan B. On July 12, I had unprotected sex with my ex-boyfriend, he pulled out, but still requested for me to take Plan B just in case. Anyhow, I took it 8 hours after we had sex and I had stomach pains and cramps until July 17. On the morning of July 20, I started spotting and by that afternoon, the spotting had turned into really heavy bleeding which lasted until July 28. Even a few days after the bleeding had stopped, I was still feeling a lot of pressure in my lower belly - almost as if someone was sitting on my stomach. To this day, I'm still experiencing a bit of pressure on and off. Should I be worried about anything? Because my first experience taking Plan B last year (28 hours after unprotected sex) wasn't even half as bad as the experience I had just described. If anyone has had a similar experience, what did you do? And are plan B side effects really supposed to last this long?(its been 3 1/2 weeks since I took the pills).

Oh, the pains associated with plan b have me feeling like I have the freakin' flu this morning and since I took it on the 9th, so that is at least 4 days of extreme fatigue (the kind where you don't even care if you sleep with shoes on), headaches and bodyaches. And the stomach: nausea, hunger, bloat and pretty much anything else bad a stomach can do. I am looking forward to the bleeding part to know that the plan b worked correctly, but when it comes, I'll be glued to the heating pad. You are not alone, my friend. Plan b is a convenient b***h. Thankfully its available, but mother..it does make your body angry with you. I am taking celebrex for the aches and L-tyrosine for the fatigue. Also nexium for the stomach. My last experience taking plan b wasn't this flu c**p, but the bleeding was biblical to say the least. Lasted around 5 days. Your body and mine will bounce back when the hormones finally work their way through and your cycle is back on track. I do hope you feel better very soon.

hi, i am having the same problem right now. i took plan b on july 11th and it’s currently july 16th. i took the plan b within no more than 8 hours. my symptoms have been lasting for almost a week now. i’m super confused. i’ve took plan b before but my breasts have never felt this sore. my stomach constantly cramps and my back is in constant pain. i’m just 18 and i’m not really looking anytime soon to be having a baby. i know i’m probably worrying about nothing but i do feel alone.

Is it normal to over bleed after taking the plan b and how long will this last? I've been having really bad stomach pains.
