    I'm bad at this review thing but I had to share that this was hands down the funniest thing I've ever seen on Broadway, maybe in life. It got off to a slightly slow start in the VERY beginning but promptly made up for lost time. I haven't laughed so hard for so long in a long time. In the travelling production Alan Ruck (Spin City, Ferris Bueller's Day Off) plays the role of Leo Bloom, Matthew Broderick's role in NY. He was amazing. If this comes to your town, GO SEE IT! If I had the money and time, I would see it a second time before it leaves town, its THAT good. On the roster for the weekend: viewing the movie. "Don't be stupid, be a smarty. Come and join the Nazi party!" :fubby:

I agree.....saw it this past summer. I missed a few things as I forgot my glasses and my contacts were bothering me and had to take them out. My husband didn't stop laughing. I was amazed at all the non-PC stuff though!!!!

I know! But I read this in our paper's review and agree with it "While the libretto by Brooks and Thomas Meehan kids everything with impudence, it remains free of rancor, maintaining a light touch that keeps it from turning gross or offensive. Brooks and company know where to draw the line."
I'm the German Ethel Merman! :fubby:
