I got to meet Don at a 5K a few years back.

Here are some of my favorites:

Not to hijack or anything, but I was watching that show City Confidential on A&E the other night. The city in question was Spokane, Washington, and one of the locals they interviewed about the murder du jour was Don Kardong.

btw... if you ever get the inkling, it's worth it to go out to Spokane for the race Don puts on, Lilac Bloomsday 12km in May. 50,000+ runners is unbelievable. 8)
