I Can't Urinate

Hi. I am 62 years old and I can`t urinate. My urine stream is very weak and the amount of urine is small, every time I go to the bathroom. My doctor told me I may have prostate enlargement and I will have to do some tests. Can anybody tell me more about tests?

I constantly have UTIs. They sometimes lead to bladder infections also. When I get them, I always drink lots of fluids and cranberry juice. I also take cranberry pills. I never take bubble baths, and I always urinate after intercourse. But I still get them at least once every three months or so....
