Watering eyes everyday

I was diagnoised with CML a year and a half ago and was put on Glevec a new drug to regulate my white blood count. The drug is working, but ever since I started taking Glevec I have had problems with my eyes watering every day-more in the am than in the pm.

alcohol causes red eye?

I read an article once about photography. It stated that alcohol increased the likelihood of red-eye in photo's and we should try to take photos before people started drinking. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, why would it be the case?
