I feel down the steps 3 weeks ago and the brusing has almost gone away, but I still have a very large knot under the skin on my butt cheek. About the size of a baseball, any idea what it is? Should I be concerned?

I have huge problem with my hands. Few months ago, I have noticed they are not just dry as they used to be for all my life. Now I have noticed they started to peeling beside they are dry. I do not know what it means and what should I do. Can you tell me something more about dry peeling hands?
