I saw some ads for pepto bismol, and am intrigued. Their website looks very commercial and, if I may be so frank, not very serious and certainly not very medical. What is the quality of pepto bismol? Does it relieve the huge list of indigestion symptoms it says it does? What are the side effects?

chest pain in esophagus while and after eating

I am a 16 year old girl that when I eat I can feel the food going down my throat and to my lower/mid chest. It is very painful, and feels clogged. Is this a symptom of Gerd or an esphagus disorder or what? My chest hurts throughout the day too.
