Hi, I had my period about a week ago - heavy bleeding and cramps for about 4 days. Thereafter it stopped. Two days later I started spotting again for two days. I was on the contraceptive called Melodene. I took my last Melodene on Wednesday the 11 May. I did not continue on another pack. On Sunday, three days after I ceased use of the Melodene I experienced severe pains in my pelvis and back. Like really bad period pains and noticed spotting which continued for the whole of Sunday. Today the pains have worsened and the bleeding more excessive. Not sure what to make of this. Bleeding I can handle, sharp pains not so much..Any insight will be appreciated.
