My roommate has a cat and of course it's incredibly hot right now. I am going to gladly use these tips because I am worried about the thing getting too heated up anyway and my roommate never watches it. Thanks for this!

I also forgot to mention though that it's very important to keep dogs hydrated. Cats usually will go for water when they need it but if you're taking a dog on a walk, they won't stop to seek it out until you all stop, so it's a good idea to water them frequently.
