OK. I'm not very good at this whole birth contol patch thing. I was on the Depo for a long time and swithced to the patch and have been on that for two months. I forgot to put my patch on again for four days. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and noticed I started bleeding like I am on my period. I am not suppost to start my period for another week. So, it was my second patch that I forgot to put on. I am a little freaked out. I am hoping it is just an irregular period not that one kind of period were your egg attaches and you are pregnant kind. Anybody able to tell me. I know I should just wait it out, but I am nervous. Yeah, I will probably go back to the shot after this.

wow that is exactly what is happening to me but ive been on the patch for a while now..
i was on my second patch and i took it of Saturday and forgot to put it on till monday morning and on sunday night i had unprotected sex. then on monday afternoon i got my so called period a few hours after putting my patch on and i am not supposed to get it for another few weeks. i called my the health quarters i go to and they told me that i can get a irregular and that it was okay and that i should be covered from the first weeks patch .. and that your just gonna get your two periods. If you put the next patch on it might make the period you got short and make the your so called regular period longer than usual but thats it..
