Hello, awkward question here. I'm 15, and, well, I am recently having some trouble having a good time with myself, if you catch my drift. I just can't get an erection all of a sudden, like someone flipped an off switch. I do take medication, ( Levothyroxine) but ED isn't one of its side effects. I did have a 2 week period where I couldn't take it, and I am not sure if that has something to do with it. But it doesn't make sense because before the medication I could masturbate just fine. Please help!

Hi Guest,
It's probably not your taking the medication but when you stopped that's causing this.
A low thyroid can cause ED. If you've been on thyroid medication for a while to keep your levels normal and then suddenly stopped, it could drop the thyroid levels enough to cause ED.
It takes a bit of time for the levels to drop and rise again. You should be able to get a normal erection soon.
