i took the morning after-pill (levonelle) 2 days after i another comtracptive failed, then a week later i experienced a brown discharge , followed by very heavy bleeding the next day,,which is today, could this be because of taking the morning after pill ( a side effect) or have i got a serious problem??

I'm having the exact same by I just give birth 4 weeks ago tomorrow took the morning after pill last Friday I'm confused as I shouldn't have a period until I reach past 6 weeks post birth :/ im bleeding quite heavily and having all my usual tell tale period signs (stomach cramps,headache,mood swings etc)
