I`m worried; I got my period two days before the placebo pill; it was more like spotting. This has never happened before. My placebo pill goes from Monday to Sunday; normally I don’t get my period till wed and then it will either be done by sat or sun but its normally light. However this month I started spotting before I even took the placebo pill and now I have my full period all week. I just moved home from college could this just be stress related? I have never missed a pill or taken a pill late and I have been on Nortel for about a year and half. Should I be worried?

I don't think you have too much to worry about - the change and the stress have definitely contributed to your period coming earlier, also, you have been on the pill for long enough for it to start to have major impact on your reproductive organs. Hormones from the pill have direct effect on your ovulation and the tissue of your uterus that breaks apart and bleeds every month, so any additional hormones caused by stressing, in combination with hormones from the pill, might have caused spotting. But, you'll have to wait 'till the next month to see what is really going on.
