I always thought of my mother as one of the healthiest persons I have ever known, but it seems like she will have to struggle with SLE from now on. And the cause is unknown, although the doctors mentioned that even stress might have caused it, and she did suffer a great shock a year ago when my father died. She has already started with a therapy, but I would like to know if chlorkinin is helpful with SLE?

It is, you have heard right, but it is not a first choice for this condition. I suppose that you should wait and see if the therapy she is already taking has a success. If not, she will have to address her doctor and change the treatment. And that might include chlorkinin, which is commonly used only when other medications are not helping.
