Im a relatively healthy 27 year old but i have recently just noticed some weird stuff going on with my semen!
I'm in a steady long term relationship and over the course of this weekend we have had sex a whole lot. I ejaculated about 9 times since saturday morning (its now monday) but this evening i was masturbating and i noticed that when i come my semen was really really thick. i could actually pick this stuff up with my finger and it was like "stringy" and "clumpy". There also wasnt a whole lot of it either but i think that maybe down to my concentration going a bit when i see what had came out. I have to say im a little worried as my girlfriend does remark that i produce quite a lot of semen when i cum. Is this consistency normal?
Dont get me wrong, its been clumpy before but this was like nothing i had ever seen.
I know that i have no diseases or infections as we are tested regularly also.
I suppose im worried about my fertility because in the past when i was younger i abused drugs and alcohol quite a lot. although i dont do that much any more, i smoke 5 - 10 a day and drink once a week.
Does this sound absurd?
your answers are greatly appreciated.

Hey there, as you said yourself, you are healthy, so I would also like to tell you one thing - don't be stressed about this. I know that you are might be worried that you don't have a healthy semen, but sometimes this whole story is not what it might seem. So, don't worry - chunky or clumpy semen is normal and is usually not a symptom of a sexually transmitted infection or similar things. Texture, color, smell - it all can vary. Your semen can also change in consistency and appearance in the minutes after leaving the penis and in so many males, after the ejaculation, proteins contained in semen can cause it to become thick. That is the answer to your question. Have a nice day.

Basically states---
Semen is usually white or grey, but can occasionally appear yellowish. Pink or red semen suggests that blood is present. Although this is only rarely due to a serious health problem, men with semen that seems bloodstained should seek advice from their family doctor.
Semen clots almost immediately after ejaculation, forming a sticky, jelly-like liquid. It will liquefy again in 5 to 40 minutes. It is quite normal for semen to form jelly-like globules and this does not indicate any health or fertility problem. Failure of clotting and subsequent liquefaction can cause fertility problems.
Seems like we are all fine

I had this problem. Water is the key. After two days of drinking as much water as I could my semen was back to normal. It's all in the diet. I drink a lot of alcohol and eat fast food quite often. But by eating more fruit and drinking PLENTY of WATER everything was fine.

Don't listen to this guy, you don't need to eat your own spunk. Just drink water and you'll survive, exercise never killed anyone either.
