By best friend in eastern washington had this happen to him after a cortisone injection in both knees. He had severe complications and within days could not walk. He has been enduring extensive therapy and has been bed ridden for over 2 years. After the shot he could not stand up, when he went to get up from his chair his knees could no longer bear any weight.
