Hello i have had the mierna twice and have experienced depression, weight gain, anxeity, insomina, get irritable very easy, heart palpations, lose my breath at times, notice i hold my breath at times, notice i am loseing my hair, bruise easily, and discharge a lot.... Now i didn't think these were or know if they are related to the mierna because when i first got it after my second child i was told i would be in pain for about two months due to my body adjusting to it. It was awful i was in so much pain i could not even hold my baby at times... Eventually that pain went away and i liked the mierna because i no longer had my periods. My periods were hell... But about a year later i did start recieveing the symptoms mentioned above on top having fainting spells up to 10-12 times a month... I went to hundereds of doctors trying to figure out why i was fainting so much. About three years later after dealing with these symptoms i was diagnosed with seizures. I decided to take the mierna out... But due to my medications i was now on for my siezures it was effecting my birth control pill... We can't afford another baby so two months later i put another mirena in... I still have the symptoms now on top of my siezures.. I can no longer drive, work, or do simple things w/o causing a seizure. I am now oddly enough getting full blown periods again and everyday headaches, back n neck pain, and cramping... I went to my gyn and they said everything was fine and that the advertisements on the mierna were not true for me due to that i have had it for about two years now... I was just wondering if anyone is having periods after a having the mierna for over a year and if anyone has been diagnosed with siezures? I don't know if all this craziness thats happening to body is due to the mierna but reading everyones comments it has opened my eyes..
