I’ve been experiencing itchiness for a couple weeks now and thinking it was irritation from pubic hair, I shaved and it went away only to come back (to a much lesser intensity but still annoying) so I decided to try an over the counter treatment thinking maybe this is due to a yeast infection. I bought monistat and almost instantaneously felt itch relief. I first used the restroom, then wiped from front to back using their wipes, inserted the medication with the applicator, and lastly rubbed the creme into my skin from to back. In the beginning, there was an ever so dull amount of burning I felt but it didn’t hurt and wasn’t as intense/unbearable as everyone else described. In fact, it felt good..like an icy hot. It was just nice to experience another sensation other than an intense itch and soreness due to scratching, to be honest. But the dull burn went away and I can’t tell you how much better I feel. I can’t wait to get over this and see how it will continue to feel this upcoming week. It’s good to consider all the reviews (good and bad) but I wouldn’t discourage or encourage the use. Do what you think is best for you and remember everyone’s body is different and is going to react differently.
