Hi, so my doctor just prescribed me Diane-35 because i have been having very irregular cycles and also for my acne. My boyfriend and I have been sexually active but i took tests and all came out negative. I was so worried at one point i even went to the doctor's to get tested and it also came out negative so I'm 100% I'm not pregnant or have any STD's or STI's. I read a few reviews about the pill and they all said that if you take the first pill during your period, you will be safe to have unprotected sex after about 2 weeks after taking the pill on time. As I've mentioned before my period's really irregular so it comes and goes, I'm planning to take my first pill tonight and i was wondering when will i be "safe" to have unprotected sex. I also heard that taking Diane-35 will cause breast enlargement is it true?

Best thing would be to check the information which comes with your pill which should state how long you have to take it before you are protected from pregnancy. Im not quite sure from your post why you are worried? Is it just because this is the first time you have used the pill? Or are you experiencing some symptoms/side effects? The pills I have taken normally state to take the active tablets when you first start your period. If you take them on day 2-5 of your period then you will need to use an extra form of contraception for 7 days. To be safe, I would use an extra form of contraception for a few weeks after taking it. Better be safe than sorry! But like i said, check the info that comes with your medication.
The contraceptive pill in some cases can cause women to get bigger breasts - this is the hormone side effects. It doesnt happen in all cases and can vary in the women that it does occur.

Hi, i need your help guys because this is my first time to use diane 35.. The first pill i took was march 20 and my menstruation does not come yet I start taking it at 6:14 pm as my regular time to take diane 35 everyday..i was lucky coz i dont feel any symptoms as im expecting to,.then on march 22 i had a sexual intercourse after taking the pill. On the next day I was late taking my pill for about 2 hrs.. I took my diane at exactly 8 pm. And yesterday i begin again to the regular time i had at 6:14 pm..
