I gave birth to my third child.  she was 8 pounds 8 ounces. I noticed 2 years after her birth that gas was coming out of my vaginia. At first it was controllable but then it started to get worse. Gas would come out of my vaginia at anytime. Sex was veru painful sometimes as well. I recently relocated to Nevada, and went to my  primary care doctor abd he refered me to a colo- rectal doctor. He preformed a pelvic exam and found the smail opening and confirmed that it was a recto vaginal fistula. I was scheduled for surgery 3 weeks ago and the recovery has been quite painful. To make matters worse the stitches didnt hold up and now I have feces coming out my vaginia. I called the surgeon and he is telling me that I have to wait to heal before he can go back in and fix the repair. Im extremely frustrated. I have to wear pads because I am constantly leaking stool from my vaginia. I have to return to work in less than a week in this conditon. I hope I do not have to wait very long to have another surgery to fix this. Has this happen to anyone else. Im just scared and do not know what to expect.
