Gee, that's a tough one.
I can't tell you if it will ever come again.
However, an ache in the balls or prostate area might be "blue Balls".
I have just recently learned that this term comes from a slight blue tint that the balls and scrotum take on from engorged blood veins after an extended period of excitment.
I've never had that bad a case, but I can also say Ihave had an ache from an extended masturbation session years ago.
As for a stitch in the side? I doubt that's blue balls. Wrong location. More likely you're either tense, or leaned over on a rib, or getting hyper... but I wouldn't think it was anything serious. Do you have heart or circulation problems?
Have you ever been winded before, or had this as an athlete?
Just some random thoughts to consider.

I belive it is blue balls as it has occured a couple more times when i've been REALLY hard. I've don't get as hard for just making out any more so I don't get it, but when i went to 3rd with my girlfriend I got really *ahem" excited (w/o cumming) and then had the stitch feeling again :/

Is the stitch in your side something that grows with your excitement, or is it a function of strenuous excercise, like thrusting during intercourse with your gal?
