How long ago did you treat the yeast infection?

It takes a few days to a week for the infection to completely go away, even with treatment.

If it does not go away, perhaps you should see a gynecologist =)

If you do not have one, or you lack insurance, PLANNED PARENTHOOD can be of assistance!

Hello there,

Maybe it is time to see your gynecologist again. Since you have been treating yeast infection it should have been healed by now so the smelly discharge is a sign of another infection which could have been misdiagnosed with yeast infection.

Either way if you had unprotected sex it is very likely that you have something besides yeast infection and after 7 days this infection shouldn’t be reoccurring if you were using the therapy like it was prescribed.

Anyhow check with your gynecologist what is going on and I hope that you will get rid of it whatever it is in question. Good luck and keep us posted about your condition.
