I had to stop due to a MRSA or MDRSA Infection and the antibiotic I need to take. I have been through a lot of antibiotics over the past two & a half months thanks to an infection the hospital gave me during a MINOR surgery. Well I had to stop Zoloft cold turkey last week and can't go back on for at least a couple of weeks. By then the worst of this will be over, but I am a poster child for the list of rotten withdrawal symptoms. Anyone have any suggestions how I might lessen the feelings, and especially the joint pain & restlessness? I am taking some clonazepam and have pain meds due to a wound that won't heal. I am using Icy/Hot on the knees and Aspercream, but they and my ankle are still killing me. I can't sit still, small or tight spaces are driving me crazy, I have a wound vac on my foot twenty-four/ seven, and have to take IV Drugs at home twice a day. This sucks and I just want to beat a phone book with a rubber hose or chop down a tree, just to get all these feelings out. I was on Zoloft for headaches and it is a headache coming off! Any suggestions?

I think that right now the pain meds are best for what you can do. Unfortunately, you can't really use Zoloft right now which is going to be what really will take your symptoms away. Right now I'd say that painkillers are the best, and maybe ice packs if you haven't done that before. What do you think?

Inositol. You get it at the health food store, preferably in powder. Take 1/4 t with water every four hours.
