Single calf raises - is there a better way to support the weight?

I've gotten to where I can't hold a dumbell in my hand when I do single calf raises because it weighs too much. Is there a better way to support the necessary weight and still be to balance myself on one foot?

Weight Training and Body Weight

For those of you that weight train on a consistent basis I have a question for you. Do you find it harder to keep your weight down when you are lifting? EVer since my 50K in February I have been lifting for about 20 - 30 minutes, 3 times a week and I have seen my strength increase but I am...

How do i reduce the noise from the trainer?

Any suggestions on how I can quiet the trainer that I use. I have tried WD-40 on the fans, and it doesn't seem to work. The loud part is coming from the fans on either side of the roller. The wife was saying that she could hear the trainer in our room this morning, and I ride in the basement...
