Taste Buds want to come off and hurts a lot! Dont know what is happening!!!

My tongue began hurting on the side. I looked and it looked like hit had a cut shape. The tastebuds were NOT swollen, but look like they want to fallout.Tastebuds at tip of the tongue also hurt, and another one appeared on the tip a bit later.What is going on?
