Do you train alone or in company?

Do you train alone or in company? What do you think are the benefits of each of the two ways? I don’t like to train in company because it can be very distracting and I always end up talking instead of training. I know that it only takes discipline, but I can’t concentrate when I’m...

How long do you wait after foot pain to run again?

I see other threads on foot pain and checked them out. :) I'm sure this is nothing. I think my old pair of running shoes just needed to be replaced and I ran a hard 10K (hard for me) a few days ago and me left foot is sore on the right side above the heel. The heal is a little sore also. Its...

Running on the balls of my feet.

Answered by a doctor

I was told today by another runner that I run only on the balls of my feet (this I know) and that if I learned to run "correctly" I could probably cut a minute off of my mile time. I have the tendancy to run "up and down" rather than out - I believe this is where my inefficiency is. I would...

Am i to old to run?

Hello, I am just starting back into running at 48 years old. I used to run in my upper 20s and lower 30s. My hardest adjustment right now is my knees. While they don't seem to hurt when I am walking or in general, they do hurt a bit about the first 15 mins of jogging, afterwhich they seem to losen...

When you know you became pro?

I started with serious trainings some eight months ago. I am motivated and dedicated. I train hard and never miss a workout. My overall time and speed have dramatically improved. I am more than satisfied. Although it sounds strange, I already feel like a pro. When you know you became pro?
