Okay, I am 14 years old and I've had my period for about four years now. I have always been getting my period around the time I'm supposed to and I've never been late. But now, I'm like 3 or 4 days late. I have never had sex. So it's impossible that I'm pregnant. What if I don't get my period? What does that mean? Is something wrong with me?

:-D you don't need to worry you are fine when you are younger it takes your period awhile before it actually really regulates you will see tons of different things through out your years trust me. Your body could possible be stressed you may not know it though. Stress can cause a late period. So don't worry it will come and kudos on staying a virgin not very many girls make to even 14 these days .. I'm sure I speak for a lot of woman when I say we are proud of you. Keep us posted ok

this dosent mean you are prego. simple things like stress and effect your period. if it gets to be a week or two late talk to your mom or see the doc

yeah no reason to stress at all. when i first got mine it was crazy irregular to where i would not get it for like 3 months then get it again. its just your body adjusting

Do you have regular periods now? How long did it take before you started having regular periods? I would think it took awhile and I agree that the poster shouldn't worry but when can she expect to start having regular periods?

i have extremely regular periods now lol. the older i got the more regular they were. i believe it was 3 years after i started that it regulated. i think its actually kinda funny, cuz when i noticed that my period was regular it was after i had sex for the first time. i always thought it was my hormones workin for me instead of against me lol. and some girls are just unlucky have have irregular periods but more than likely there will be a schedule of some sort
