My period ended about a week ago and I had unprotected sex the day after it stopped with my boyfriend. He got worried that I could possibly get pregnant even though I assured him it was very unlikely. I took the morining after pill 2 days after we had sex just to be safe (after reading some of the effects people have had online I will no longer use this method of birth control). I took the first pill at about 3 in the afternoon and forgot to set my alarm to take the second one at 3 in the morning so I took it as soon as I remembered when I woke up about 16 hrs later instead of the prescribed 12 hrs. Now about a week after my period stopped, I started getting this brownish discharge yesterday and it lasted until this moring and then changed into what seems to be moderate to heavy bleeding associated with my period along with cramps. I really don't think the pill can change my cycle this drasticaly and I know bleeding is one of the side effects. Is that all it is or should I be worried about something else? Is there any possible way I could be pregnant (maybe this is implantaion bleeding?) Any help or additional info would be greatly appreciated.
