don't want to make this too long, but here goes: I am currently in the middle of my second month of takingbirth controlpills (Necon 1/35) and I have one day left until my week of inactive pills. I should also note that this is the first time in my life that I have taken birth control. Anywho, I am experiencing a multitude of symptoms that I am scared might be pointing to pregnancy, but I could also be freaking myself out because they are also side effects of the pill. I experienced sore breasts, nausea, and some spotting my first month and my 'period' on my first inactive week of pills was quite light and only required a pantyliner. A few days after I started my second pack, I vomited about 8 hours after taking my pill that day. That made me quite concerned, because I had sex that day and my boyfriend ejaculated inside of me (he had only ejaculated inside me once a few days before). We had used condoms during the first 7 days of pills and after that first week when we had sex (only 2 times), he never ejaculated. Nausea and vomiting were listed as the first two side effects in my pill packet and although I have not vomited since that one time, I still get some random bouts of nausea, but it is never bad enough to make me stop what I am doing. My breasts are still slightly tender and I have been experiencing light-medium spotting this whole week and I am worried that it might be implantation bleeding.

I am very worried that I might be pregnant even though I know the first three months of birth control should be rocky. I am not sure if I should wait to take a pregnancy test during my inactive week of pills or after. Or if I should do it at all. Either way, I just need some advice and want to see if anyone has been in a similar situation.

Another important note- I have never missed any pills and have taken them all on time.

I also forgot to mention that I have been experiencing some slight cramping for the past two days.

Sounds like your birth control is too strong for you. Talk to your dr about a more sensitive dose. I got all those symptoms when I took a strong birth control and I was not sexually active. It was horrible to feel that way. I would definitely change the birth control out though. Then tell a dr what you feel and ask them for a blood test to check if you are pregnant. Good luck!
