i am 20 years old and seriously need help. i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on monday july 14th because we already thought i was pregnant the next day, tuesday the 15th we went to the clinic for a pregnancy test and it was negative so immediatly we got the morning after pill and i took it that same day(12 hours apart) however now only 4 days later i have dark brown discharge and some diarrhea (sorry tmi) but its also about 6 days after the unprotected sex could it be implantation bleeding or is it just the plan b because my period isn't due for another few weeks so i didn't think the plan b would cause me to have my period this quickly also i just had it for july on the 10th but it only lasted 2-3 days.
i have taken the morning after pill before a couple years ago and i did not experince any of these same symptoms my period came on time and the brown discharge came only a day or two before my period.

well, plan b gives you a an electric shock version of hormones-- so for your period to start earlier than normal is not abnormal. however, you did not specify how long you and your boyfriend thought you were pregnant. if it was just a couple days after you had unprotected sex and the result was negative, odds are that you hadn't reached the right amount of hormone levels for your urine to carry them. however, as long as you took plan B within 5 days of unprotected sex, you are fine (about a 90% chance you won't get pregnant.) i just recently took it, and my period started a week earlier than normal (when i had just had it about a week before-- this is also a factor in taking plan B-- perhaps the first time you took it, it was a different cycle of your period.) my most recent "plan B period" lasted about 3 days (when it usually lasts 4 to 5 days). again though, this is not an abnormal symptom (especially if you're thinking about it-- your mind can play terrible tricks on your body.) so, if you've had your period by now (wish i would have gotten to this post sooner), you are fine :-) if you haven't gotten it, you are more than likely pregnant.
