Hello, I took plan B for the first time in my life a few months ago, march and April.
In may I started having severe cystic acne. And even irregular periods. How do I clear this up. Please help. I'm not on any medicine no more it's been 3 months.

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill that contains a high dose of the hormone levonorgestrel, which can disrupt the normal hormonal balance in the body. While it's possible for hormonal changes to cause acne, it's unclear whether Plan B directly causes acne or exacerbates an existing condition.
Cystic acne is a severe form of acne that is often caused by hormonal imbalances, such as those associated with puberty, menstrual cycles, and pregnancy. Some individuals may be more susceptible to hormonal changes that trigger acne than others.
Your doctor can evaluate your skin condition, discuss potential causes, and recommend appropriate treatment options. In some cases, topical or oral medications, such as antibiotics, retinoids, or hormonal therapy, may be prescribed to help manage acne. Additionally, lifestyle changes, such as eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and avoiding stress, may also help improve acne symptoms.
Have you had any success in getting rid of acne?
