Is it better to know or not to know is there any possible gene defect in her family? We are planning family and very concerned for unborn child.

As there is a risk of 50% of heritance of Huntington's disease, genetic testing has to be performed only in family member who has HD. The positive result in a healthy individual predicts terminal illness, but it also includes the emotional and financial instability.
