My doctor says that .75 mg/day of klonopin is a low dosage, yet the side effects of dizziness, vivid bad dreams, sleepiness and fatigue profoundly affect my daily functioning. I've been taking it for a year or more. Would like to stop taking it, because I'm just not getting anything done, and I don't feel "normal." I know that it needs to be done gradually. What would a tapering off schedule look like to avoid the awful withdrawal side effects I've read about? (I also take Celexa for depression and plan to keep that the same.) Is there another medication that I could take for anxiety? Or, should I consider the "natural" treatments?
