I was wondering whether or not my normal skin pigmentation will return to my hand after receiving a cortisone steroid injection?

I had cortisone injected into my elbow two times. Both times my elbow turned paper white. It was strange but within a year each time my skin regained its original color. So I think your hand should return to normal - just takes time. That said cortisone may not be your best bet in the future. In my case it just masks the problem for a bit and then it returns so I'm searching for alternative ways of dealing with my elbow pain.
