I am a 22 year old male and have beenexperiencing sexual dysfunction for about a year now. It started when Iused a vibrator a few times and ever since have lost much of thefeeling and sensitivity on my penis. I am not able to get a hard erection like I used to either. I am very embarrassed to see a doctor about this. Can anyone please help me with this? thanks!

I understand you're embarrassed to speak to a doctor, but you need to. They're probably the only ones who could properly treat what's happening to you. Even though it's personal and the circumstances are embarrassing, doctors have heard quite a lot. They're interest is mainly in giving you good care.

Since you say it started after using a vibrator, it sounds like a possible nerve injury. Again, a doctor would help with this. See what you can do about overcoming the embarrassment and see a good doctor.

I would doubt the vibrator is the cause of your problem, but the above poster is right, you need to see a doctor. If you're embarrassed by it, don't tell the doctor any reasons, just give him your symptoms and he can go from there. But do go see your doctor, this is something you need to get fixed!

I actually had the same thing happen to me when i was 17 years old. I am 32 now. Back then we had no internet chat sites or erection herbs. Anyway, I did not correct the problem until i was 22 and had to spend thousands with trying everything I could find to help. I ended up becoming a pretty good healer. Anyway, to make a long story short. You probally over masterbated and depleted your sex power the chinese would say. I would have to know your medical history to give better advice.

I think you should consider physiological (biological "physical") problems as well as psychological ones.

You should discuss this with a doctor to rule out a medical cause. I work in the ER so as another poster indicated we are very very used to seeing genitalia. I understand that you are embarrassed about this. Medicine is not about passing judgment. Medicine is about finding the facts and trying to provide treatment.

You did not mention any recent trauma that I find significant in nature. The vibrator most likely did not do any damage.

Did you find the vibrator exceptionally pleasurable? It's possible that the new experience raised your threshold of pleasure (so to speak) and your unable to get a similar erection.
