I've been taking BCPs for 2 weeks now and heard that most people bleed or experience spotting but I have not experienced both yet.

I'm taking pills at 3pm every day, and my pms started at around 11 pm - midnight but I took my very first pill at 3 pm in the afternoon the next day. Was I not supposed to take the pill that late? Do you think the pills are effective even though? I am so worried because I'm not experiencing any bleeding or spotting after my period and that I might be pregnant.

I did some research on this and some says bleeding/spotting don't occur to smokers and I am not a smoker though I smoke some joint occasionally... and others say that one might not experience it when she misses taking pills but I have NOT missed any.
