I mix them all the time when I'm sick. I take 800mg ibuprofen and a big gulp of Nyquil and I sleep like a baby and I'm great the next morning ready to go!! I've been doing it for years because its not like your doing it everyday.

You are definitely right. No to NyQuil with Tylenol. Ibuprofen and NyQuil is fine though. Done it a few times before when I have had the period/cold combo

Not all NyQuil products contain a pain reliever. Ibrobrofen can be used with NyQuil if the NyQuil product you are using does not contain a pain/fever reliever.

Tylenol does NOT have ibrophin in it . I agree it's fine to mix as they are 2 different meds

Not all NyQuil contains acetaminophen. Only the ones that do (cold and flu) you can't take Tylenol with. Regular plain NyQuil has no acetaminophen so you can take it. And you can take Advil with acetaminophen in recommended doses.

Oh my gosh! How in the world did we ever get to this place when people who have no idea what they are talking about can give advice concerning medication! Thank you to the person who finally understands that ibuprofen and acetaminophen are two different types of drugs. It amazes me at the danger of giving the wrong advice so freely is allowed on the Internet. Just proves do not believe everything you read on the net and the best thing to do is call you 24 hour pharmacy for advice!

Sometimes the pharmacy gives bad information as well, so best to check more than one source.
