I had a cortisone injection in my arthritic knee (front of knee) over 60 hours ago and the pain behind my knee is unbearable. I also had flushing (entire face was red) for 48 hours. Is the pain a normal reaction; after reading some replies, I have just put ice onto the painful area. I was not told to stay off my feet and was not told what side effects could occur.
