I stopped taking birth control after my last period. I was due again to get my period a week ago. I have not started yet. My husband and I have used condoms for the last month so, I am sure i'm not pregnant. I have also had some severe hot flashes and heart palpitations at various times throughout day and night. I feel the heat raging up my body and my heart feels like it will burst through my chest. I often wake in the morning with a splitting headahe. This headache will be there every morning for at least a week. Then it will go away for a couple days then come back again. What is going on.? When should my period start??
